With my very low numbers, I can offer your pup great socialisation, love and care while you are busy. Your puppy will spend the day playing, making friends, meeting new things and learning how to behave with other dogs, at the same time as being loved, fed and cared for by me and my family.
For most of the day your pup will have free run of the ground floor of our house and be allowed to play in our fully enclosed garden with a choice of toys and of course the other dogs! We also ensure that your puppy has some quiet time where they learn to relax and settle, as would be expected in the home environment.
They will receive as much love and affection as one of our own. Puppies who stay with us are never shut away in outside kennels, they stay in our home as part of the family. And because of our low numbers there is never a risk of things getting ‘out of hand’. We do not allow the dogs to get out of control, they are taught how to behave in the home environment and learn manners and doggy etiquette while they are here. This helps your dog to learn how to behave with other dogs which is vital as they get older. We do not take on any new dogs over the age of 6 months, so there is never the risk of an older dog coming in and upsetting the balance, everyone knows where they fit within the group. We have strict procedures on how to introduce a new puppy to the group which ensures that your puppy is slowly integrated into the pack at a pace they are able to cope with without becoming overwhelmed.
I can feed your pup at their normal feeding time so that it’s routine isn’t upset. All you have to do is provide the food in a labelled plastic container and tell me what time to give it.
Puppies will get to socialise with our family, dogs, cats and rabbits as well as many of the day to day noises of life. This, along with all your hard work at home, will enable them to grow up into very happy, sociable and well balanced dogs.
We have flexible drop off and collection times within our opening times, so we can try to fit in with you and your needs as best as we can. We always try to be here for our regular clients at short notice if we possibly can be.
By the time you collect your pup at the end of the day they will probably be shattered with all the fun they have been having… but will always be so pleased to see you!
